Tsunami RT finished the first race in Magny-Cours on slicks under the rain and won a cup! Oleksandr Gaidai was 3rd in the French Division B. Paul Loup Chatin finished 8th overall.

O.Gaidai: It was a very strange race.
P.L.Chatin: It was a strange race, you know!
O.Gaidai: I was to start on 19th position but the car that was behind me somehow stood 3 meters in front of me and marshals didn’t notice that.
P.L.Chatin: The beginning was crazy: some cars crashed together in front of me on the first lap and I had to avoid them. I became 7th and then we had 10 minutes behind the safety car.
O.Gaidai: 34 cars – it is really dangerous and my goal was to save the car for tomorrow. So I drove carefully.
P.L.Chatin: After restart one driver overtook me. It was not perfect but I drove on the used tyres and some drivers used the new tyre set. Well, I was able to beat them but it was a short race half of which was lost behind the safety car.
O.Gaidai: I made a mistake in one corner: drove on the wrong gear and the engine began to stall. I lost 2-3 seconds there. Otherwise I I would win the French Division B.
P.L.Chatin: So the result is not so good but totally I should say it was okay.
O.Gaidai: The car is okay and I hope tomorrow everything will be all right.
